Melissa Dagenais is a Canadian goalkeeper from Saint-Hubert, Québec, who plays for Ottawa Rapid FC in the Northern Super League. Standing at 6-foot-1, she brings a commanding presence and calm distribution to the back line. She joined Ottawa in 2025 and made an immediate impression, recording a clean sheet in her club debut and establishing herself as a reliable starter during the Rapid’s inaugural season.
Dagenais played collegiate soccer at the University of Miami from 2019 to 2023, making 56 appearances for the Hurricanes and earning multiple ACC Defensive Player of the Week honors, along with repeated selections to the ACC All-Academic Team. Before turning professional, she competed in Quebec’s Première Ligue de soccer du Québec, later gaining international club experience with Damaiense in Portugal.
