Choo Hyojoo is a South Korean winger from Busan who plays for Ottawa Rapid FC in the Northern Super League and the South Korea national team. Known for her pace, versatility, and work rate, she joined Ottawa in 2025 and featured in the club’s inaugural season, scoring her first NSL goal and becoming a regular presence on the flank. Her impact was quickly recognized, and she signed a contract extension through the 2026 season.
Choo began her professional career after graduating from Ulsan College, signing with Suwon FC in 2021, where she made 65 appearances and recorded 14 goals over three seasons. She later played for Hyundai Steel Red Angels before moving abroad to Canada.
