Hannah Chown is a Canadian defender who plays for Ottawa Rapid FC in the Northern Super League. A commanding, left-footed centre back known for reading the game and delivering on set-pieces, she joined the Rapid in August 2026 alongside fellow defender Elise Bell, signing after a decorated five-year career with the University of Toronto Varsity Blues and a title-winning summer in the Ontario Premier League.

Chown capped her U of T career in 2025 by scoring the game-winning goal in the OUA gold medal match, helping the Varsity Blues capture their first provincial championship in program history. She closed out her collegiate run as OUA East MVP, a U Sports First-Team All-Canadian, and a five-time OUA all-star — earning the honour in every season she played. That summer, she helped Simcoe County Rovers FC go unbeaten to win back-to-back OPL1 titles, then made history alongside Bell in a 1-0 upset over Northern Super League side Montreal Roses FC in the W Canadian Championship quarterfinal, a result that helped pave her path to the professional ranks in Ottawa.
