Ngozi SoniaOkobi-Okeoghene

Ngozi Sonia Okobi-Okeoghene is a Nigerian professional footballer who plays as a forward for Northern Super League club Ottawa Rapid FC. Okobi began her career with Delta Queens in Nigeria before moving abroad to play in the United States, Sweden, and Spain. She joined Ottawa Rapid FC in January 2025, bringing her extensive international and club experience to the new team.

At the international level, Okobi has represented Nigeria since 2010, appearing in multiple African Women’s Championship tournaments and FIFA Women’s World Cups. She has won the African Women’s Championship four times with the Super Falcons and is known for her versatility in attack, often playing as an attacking midfielder, winger, or forward.
